When it comes to producing quality videos for your church, there is so much to learn! Fortunately, there is a seemingly endless supply of resources online to help.
Here are a few of my favorites to get you started.
VIMEO VIDEO SCHOOL
This is the perfect site to find foundational tutorials for any editing software you may have. Each application has multiple videos that guide you through all the steps from importing footage to exporting your final product and everything in between.
VIDEO COPILOT
The Video Copilot team are the pioneers of online tutorials and they have been putting out awesome After Effects videos for years. They have some incredible plug-in packs available for purchase on their site and each plug-in is accompanied by a tutorial video with all the details on how to use it.
THE BEAT: A BLOG BY PREMIUMBEAT
If you’re looking for some awesome templates, tutorials, and news updates on all things video and sound production you have got to check out The Beat! Their tutorials will teach you some incredibly useful tools for editing, their templates will allow you to get more done in a short amount of time and their news updates will keep you on top of the production game with all the latest information on gadgets, apps, techniques, and hacks.
VIMEO FREE HD STOCK FOOTAGE
There’s an awesome community or artists on Vimeo that provide stock footage for free. They have over 2,000 available videos and while they may not always have what you’re looking for, I highly recommend checking them out before purchasing a video elsewhere. You never know what you’ll find!
SOUND BIBLE
You may still need to give some credit to the original artist/creator but you won’t have to pay anything for the files themselves. Definitely give this site a try next time your in the market for some sound effects!
POND5
Pond5 is a very reasonably priced website for royalty free music. They also have video, after effects effects, and digital files for purchase but in my opinion their sound effects, public domain, and music selection is their best feature.
